Redesigned Time Magazine Follows in Wired’s Footsteps

With Wired setting the bar for gorgeous, high-quality, interactive magazines on the iPad, Time shows us what they’ve cooked up. Though in Time’s case, there’s a lot going on in terms of navigation that makes it feel really cluttered. There’s too many ways you can interact with pages that don’t seem intuitive, but we’ll see.
I am most impressed with being able to view a map of the stories: that is really important to me. Equally as interesting is Wired’s comments system, which I wouldn’t expect from a magazine — do I really want read the same trollish comments I can online?
Considering I just cancelled my cable plan (why would you do such a thing!?), Time will be great for keeping an eye on the world around me so I don’t lose track of current events. I’m hopeful this will be out soon, and you can find a quick video after the break.
